Jessica had suffered from stomach issues since she was 17. Her condition declined further after the birth of her daughter. The doctor ordered a colonoscopy but found nothing. Next he gave her a prescription, which only made matters worse.

Leigh’s 3-year-old daughter suffered from chronic ear infections. She improved for a while after ear tubes were put in. Unfortunately, this did not last long, and Leigh felt like there had to be something she could do to help her child feel better.

Fiona was tired and bloated, and found she was getting sick more and more often. She lived a fairly healthy life but felt like there had to be a way to improve her energy and health.

Though their issues varied, all three of these women credit Tiffany Jackson, ND, and EcoHealth Wellness Center & Detox Spa for resolving their health concerns. Jessica’s 10-year history of stomach issues was completely resolved after three months of following Jackson’s plan. Leigh’s daughter stopped having ear infections, her skin cleared up and her behavior improved. Fiona lost the bloat (and 20 pounds!), regained her energy, and her immune system improved.

Jackson is a naturopathic doctor who sees herself as a health detective. She turned to natural medicine for answers when both of her parents were diagnosed with cancer. Her training and experience have helped her identify imbalances and toxicities in the body and the diseases they create, as well as formulate plans that restore balance and health.

Jackson says she coined the term “EcoHealth” because “the body is an ecosystem, and in order for health to be maintained, the microbes that make up the ecosystem in the GI tract must be in the proper balance. EcoHealth also implies that the increase of chemical exposures in our environment play a significant role in the epidemic of disease and illness in our country.”

Jackson provides one-on-one consultations, which include a comprehensive health, lifestyle and dietary assessment. Based on this assessment, she creates a plan to support optimal health. Her customized approach combines nutrition, herbal medicine, and supplements, along with complementary therapies, like skin care, Migun massage, Kangen water, and infrared sauna, which are all available at EcoHealth Wellness Center & Detox Spa.

Migun Massage

A Migun massage bed combines infrared heat and automated jade massage stones to create a one-of-a-kind deep, healing massage. Infrared heat is projected through the jade massage stones that travel up and down the spine, neck, head and legs. Jade stones are said to contain healing properties that hold heat and prompt the body to release, relax and detox. Release of stress is further enhanced when the stones apply stimulation to acupuncture and pressure points. The massage beds work on five basic principles: chiropractic, massage, acupressure, acupuncture and heat therapy. Benefits include increased circulation and metabolism; reduction of pain from arthritis, fibromyalgia and sore muscles; and deeper sleep cycles.

Infrared Sauna Therapy

Far infrared waves penetrate deep into the skin and dissolve harmful substances accumulated in the body. The deep heat activates the sweat glands. The skin is the largest organ in the human body and is a very good means for elimination of toxins. The infrared rays also vitalize cells and the metabolism.

Detox/Cleanse Programs

To optimize liver function, EcoHealth recommends doing a detox program a couple of times a year. The EcoCleanse is a comprehensive, science-based nutritional program designed to support safe and effective detoxification. Everything is consolidated into packets to make the program easy to follow. Just take one drink mix packet combined with water and one capsule packet twice per day. Add the simple food plan from the guide book and look forward to increased energy and a long list of health benefits, including weight loss, healthier skin and hair, better sleep, clearer thinking, and happier mood. Fiona admitted she was a bit apprehensive about doing a detox, but she found it easier than expected due to the support of the team at EcoHealth. She believes the detox program took her health to the next level.

Teaching Kitchen

Jackson and staff offer classes that teach reading and understanding food labels; how to incorporate superfoods into a daily routine; and how to make quick, delicious, nutrient-dense meals and snacks.
