Herbs, Tea, and Land Preservation
Learn native healing herbs in the Low Country while supporting land protection in the Low Country
Come join Healing Plant Traditions and LocalPulse as we join together to offer the community a wonderful education and sensory event for a great cause-to preserve 26 acres off of John's Island. April Punsalan with Healing Plant Traditions will lead you through a Low Country Maritime Forest and point out key healing plants that can be easily identified and used daily for health benefits. After the one hour walk, we will do a tea tasting, featuring local plants such as Yaupon Holly (our only caffeinated plant) and Mulberry (full of nutrients and minerals). All proceeds will go to LocalPulse to help protect 26 acres off of John's Island. Help us protect this land and prevent it from becoming another subdivision. Check out: https://localpulseapp.com/info
Please contact us at [email protected] to register for the event! We hope to see you there.
